dates (khajoor)

2 cups

milk

2 cups

ghee

1/2 cup

sugar

1/2 cup

almonds (badam)

1/4 cup

cashews (kaju)

1/4 cup

raisins (kishmish)

1/4 cup

cardamom powder (elaichi powder)

1/2 teaspoon

Directions

Step 1:

Soak the dates in warm water for about 10 minutes.

Step 2:

Heat the ghee in a pan and add the almonds, cashews, and raisins. Fry them until they turn golden brown.

Step 3:

Add the soaked dates to the pan and fry them for a few minutes.

Step 4:

Add the milk and sugar to the pan and stir until the sugar is dissolved.

Step 5:

Cook the mixture on low heat for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6:

Add the cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 7:

Cook for a few more minutes until the mixture thickens.

Step 8:

Serve the khajoor ka halwa hot or cold. Enjoy!
