large karela (bitter gourd)

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

amchur powder

1 teaspoon

oil

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Wash and cut the karela into thin slices.

Step 2:

Heat oil in a pan and add the karela slices.

Step 3:

Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala and amchur powder.

Step 4:

Mix well and cook for 5-7 minutes on medium heat.

Step 5:

Add salt to taste and cook for another 2-3 minutes.

Step 6:

Serve hot with chapati or rice.
