medium sized karela (bitter gourd)

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Wash and cut the karela into thin slices.

Step 2:

In a bowl, add the karela slices, cumin seeds, coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Mix everything together.

Step 3:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 4:

Add the karela mixture to the pan and fry until golden brown.

Step 5:

Serve hot with roti or rice.
