cubed kaddu (pumpkin)

2 cups

onion, finely chopped


tomatoes, finely chopped


cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon


2 tablespoons

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add cumin seeds and let them crackle.

Step 3:

Add chopped onion and sauté until golden brown.

Step 4:

Add chopped tomatoes and cook until soft.

Step 5:

Add all the dry spices and mix well.

Step 6:

Add cubed kaddu and mix well.

Step 7:

Cover the pan and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the kaddu is cooked.

Step 8:

Add salt to taste and mix well.

Step 9:

Serve hot with chapati or rice.
