Ingredients

puffed rice

2 cups

chopped onions

1/2 cup

chopped tomatoes

1/2 cup

chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup

green chillies, finely chopped

mustard oil

1 tablespoon

chaat masala

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

peanuts

A handful

Some sev for garnish

Directions

Step 1:

In a large bowl, combine the puffed rice, chopped onions, tomatoes, coriander leaves, and green chillies.

Step 2:

Add the mustard oil, chaat masala, red chilli powder, and salt. Mix well to combine.

Step 3:

Add the peanuts and mix again.

Step 4:

Just before serving, garnish with sev.

Step 5:

Serve the jhal muri immediately to enjoy its crispy texture.
