vanilla extract

1 teaspoon

ground cinnamon

1/2 teaspoon

ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon

ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon

ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon



Step 1:

In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and lemon juice.

Step 2:

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

Step 3:

Reduce the heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4:

Add the butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and allspice.

Step 5:

Simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6:

Remove the pan from the heat and let the jam cool for 10 minutes.

Step 7:

Pour the jam into a jar or container and let it cool completely before storing in the refrigerator.
