Soak the rice and urad dal in separate bowls for at least 4 hours.
Drain the water from the rice and urad dal and grind them separately in a blender or food processor.
Add the fenugreek seeds, salt, and baking soda to the ground rice and urad dal and mix well.
Add the water and mix until the batter is of a thick, creamy consistency.
Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and add a few drops of oil.
Pour a ladleful of the batter onto the pan and spread it out in a circular motion.
Cook for a few minutes until the dosai is golden brown on both sides.
Serve hot with chutney or sambar. Enjoy!
