Spread the mayonnaise evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
On top of the mayonnaise, add the lettuce, tomato, bacon, and cheese.
Season with the salt and pepper.
Top with the second slice of bread.
Place the sandwich on a heated skillet over medium heat.
Cook each side for 3-4 minutes or until bread is golden brown and cheese is melted.
Remove from heat and let it cool for a minute before cutting into halves.
