1/4 teaspoon

ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon

ground cardamom

1/4 teaspoon

ground cloves

1/4 teaspoon

ground ginger

1/4 teaspoon

ground allspice

1/4 teaspoon

ground black pepper

1/4 teaspoon

Directions

Step 1:

Wash and cut the guavas into small cubes.

Step 2:

In a medium saucepan, combine the sugar, water, cinnamon, nutmeg, cardamom, cloves, ginger, allspice, and black pepper.

Step 3:

Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.

Step 4:

Reduce the heat to low and add the guava cubes. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 5:

Remove the pan from the heat and let the mixture cool.

Step 6:

Serve the guava mixture over ice cream or as a topping for pancakes or waffles. Enjoy!
