Step 1:

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).

Step 2:

In a large bowl, combine the apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Mix until the apples are evenly coated.

Step 3:

In a small bowl, combine the melted butter and vanilla extract. Pour over the apple mixture and mix until evenly combined.

Step 4:

Place the pie crust in a 9-inch pie plate. Pour the apple mixture into the crust.

Step 5:

Bake for 40 to 45 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the filling is bubbly.

Step 6:

Allow to cool before serving. Enjoy!
