In a medium saucepan, combine the gauva, sugar, and water. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally.
Reduce the heat to low and add the cardamom, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, ginger, and salt. Simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Add the raisins, walnuts, almonds, cashews, dates, and apricots. Simmer for an additional 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Remove from the heat and stir in the honey.
Serve warm or cold. Enjoy!
