fresh French beans

1 lb.

olive oil

2 tablespoons

garlic, minced

1 teaspoon


1/2 teaspoon

black pepper

1/4 teaspoon

dried thyme

1/4 teaspoon

dried oregano

1/4 teaspoon

freshly squeezed lemon juice

2 tablespoons



Step 1:

Wash and trim the ends of the French beans.

Step 2:

Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 3:

Add the garlic and sauté for 1 minute.

Step 4:

Add the French beans and season with salt, pepper, thyme, and oregano.

Step 5:

Sauté for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 6:

Add the lemon juice and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Step 7:
