Fish Shallow Fry



Pan fried or shallow fried fish is a delicious appetizer or a side dish. The fish fillet is marinated with salt, lemon juice, turmeric and ginger garlic paste. This is then fried on a hot tawa with generous amount of oil till crisp. The fish can also be coated with semolina or all purpose flour before frying to make it more crisp.

Step 1:

Step 2:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Dip the fish fillets in the flour mixture, coating both sides.

Step 4:

Place the fish fillets in the hot oil and cook for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5:

Remove the fish from the skillet and place on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Step 6:

Serve with your favorite sides and enjoy!
