onions (finely chopped)

garlic (minced)

2 cloves

ginger (finely grated)

2 teaspoons

turmeric powder

2 teaspoons

red chili powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

2 teaspoons

garam masala powder

1 teaspoon

tomato puree

2 cups

water

2 cups

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a large pan on medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the chopped onions, minced garlic, and grated ginger and sauté until onions turn translucent.

Step 3:

Add the turmeric, red chili, coriander, and garam masala powder and sauté for another minute.

Step 4:

Add the tomato puree, water, and salt and let the curry simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 5:

Add the fish pieces to the curry and cook for 10-15 minutes or until the fish is cooked through.

Step 6:

Garnish the Fish Curry Masala with fresh cilantro and serve with rice or naan.
