2 cups

tea leaves

2 teaspoons

sugar(optional)

2 teaspoons

ginger

1 inch piece

Directions

Step 1:

Heat the milk in a saucepan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Once the milk is hot, add the tea leaves and stir.

Step 3:

Add crushed ginger and sugar if using and boil on low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 4:

Strain the tea into cups and serve hot. Enjoy!
