Rinse the dalia thoroughly under running water and drain.
In a pot, bring water to a boil and add the dalia, simmer until it is cooked and all the water has been absorbed.
In a pan, heat the oil and add the mustard seeds. When they start to crackle, add the onions and green chillies and sauté until the onions are translucent.
Add the vegetables, season with salt and cook until they are soft.
Add the cooked dalia to the pan with vegetables, mix well.
Cook for another 2-3 minutes, then turn off the heat.
Add lemon juice, stir well, and serve hot with yogurt or coconut chutney on the side.
