Heat ghee in a pan and add cumin seeds, mustard seeds, fenugreek seeds, curry leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, onion, tomatoes, coriander leaves and sauté for a few minutes.
Add dalia and sauté for a few minutes.
Add water, salt, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala, amchur powder, dry mango powder, chaat masala, black pepper powder, ajwain and asafoetida.
Cover the pan and cook on low flame for 10-15 minutes or until the dalia is cooked.
Serve hot with curd or pickle.
