About

Dal Fry is a popular Indian dish made from lentils and a blend of spices. It is commonly served with rice or Indian breads like roti or naan. Dal Fry is a part of the regular Indian meal and is also served in most Indian restaurants. Lentils are high in protein and are considered to be an excellent source of nutrition. The dish gets its distinctive taste from the tempering of spices fried in ghee or oil, which is poured over the cooked dal.
