Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Fry until golden brown.

Add the boiled potatoes, tamarind paste, red chilli powder, cumin powder, coriander powder and chaat masala. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Add the pomegranate seeds, roasted peanuts and salt to taste. Mix well and cook for a few minutes.
Add the chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Take the pavs and cut them into halves.
Spread the prepared mixture on the pavs and serve hot.
