tomatoes, chopped


cloves garlic, minced


ginger, minced

1 teaspoon

cumin powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

red chili powder

1 teaspoon


2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

chopped cilantro

2 tablespoons



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the onion and sauté until it is lightly browned.

Step 3:

Add the garlic and ginger and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 4:

Add the tomatoes and cook until they are soft.

Step 5:

Add the cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, and red chili powder. Stir to combine.

Step 6:

Add the cooked chickpeas and stir to combine.

Step 7:

Add salt to taste and stir to combine.

Step 8:

Cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 9:

Add the chopped cilantro and stir to combine.

Step 10:

Serve hot with rice or roti. Enjoy!
