onion, chopped


cloves garlic, minced


ground cumin

1 teaspoon

ground coriander

1 teaspoon

ground turmeric

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1 teaspoon

chili powder

(14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes


(14.5 ounce) can tomato sauce


(14.5 ounce) can coconut milk


cooked chicken, diced

2 cups

Salt and pepper to taste



Step 1:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the onion and garlic and cook until softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 3:

Add the cumin, coriander, turmeric, garam masala, and chili powder and cook for 1 minute.

Step 4:

Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce, and coconut milk and bring to a simmer.

Step 5:

Add the chicken and simmer for 10 minutes.

Step 6:

Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Step 7:

Serve over cooked rice or with naan bread. Enjoy!
