Heat oil in a pan, add onions and sauté until golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until the raw smell is gone.
Add the chicken pieces and sauté until they turn slightly white.
Now, add tomatoes, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala and salt. Cook until the tomatoes are soft.
Add yogurt, mix well and cook on low flame until the chicken is fully cooked and the gravy thickens.
Serve hot with rice or roti.
