large onions (finely chopped)

large tomatoes (finely chopped)

green chillies (finely chopped)

garlic paste

1 tablespoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 tablespoon

garam masala powder

1 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan and add the chopped onions. Saute them until they turn golden brown.

Step 2:

Add the ginger and garlic paste and cook until the raw smell goes away.

Step 3:

Add the green chillies, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and coriander powder. Mix well.

Step 4:

Add the chopped tomatoes and cook until the tomatoes become soft and mushy.

Step 5:

Add the chicken pieces and cook until the chicken is no longer pink.

Step 6:

Add the garam masala and salt. Mix well and cook for another 10 minutes.

Step 7:

Serve the Chicken Masala hot with rice or Indian breads.
