Heat the oil in a large pan over medium heat. Add onions and cook until they are golden brown.
Add in the garlic and ginger and cook for a further 2 minutes.
Add in the spices (coriander, turmeric, cumin, cardamom, and chili powder) and cook until fragrant.
Add the chicken pieces to the pan and cook until they are lightly browned.
Add in the yogurt, cream, and a pinch of salt. Lower the heat and let the korma simmer for around 20 minutes or until the chicken is thoroughly cooked and the flavors are well combined.
Serve the chicken korma hot with naan, rice, or roti.
