Chicken Kabab is a popular appetizer in the Middle Eastern, South Asian and Mediterranean cuisines. It consists of chunks of chicken, marinated in an array of spices, then skewered and grilled to perfection. Often served with tzatziki sauce, hummus, or a simple salad, chicken kabab makes for a nutritious, protein-packed meal. It's a favourite dish for barbeques and family gatherings.

Cut the chicken into bite-sized pieces.
In a bowl, mix together the lemon juice, ginger paste, garlic paste, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, garam masala, yogurt, and salt.
Add the chicken pieces to the marinade and mix well.
Cover the bowl and leave the chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours.
Thread the chicken pieces onto skewers.
Heat a grill pan over medium heat. Apply oil on the pan.
Grill the chicken kababs on each side for about 10-12 minutes or until cooked through.
Serve the chicken kababs hot with a side of yogurt dip and salad.
