Heat oil in a pan and add chopped onions. Fry till they become golden brown.
Add ginger-garlic paste and sauté till the raw smell goes away.
Add the turmeric powder, red chilli powder, and bhuna masala. Mix well and cook for a few seconds.
Add the pureed tomatoes and cook until oil starts separating from the mixture.
Add the chicken pieces and mix well until all the chicken pieces are coated with the masala.
Cover the pan and cook on low heat until the chicken is cooked through.
Add the diced capsicums and salt, mix well and simmer for another 5 minutes.
Chicken Bhuna Masala is ready to be served hot with roti, naan or rice.
