2 cups


2 tablespoons

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

urad dal

1 teaspoon

chana dal

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

dried red chillies


freshly grated coconut

2 tablespoons

chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat the oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add the mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal, cumin seeds and dried red chillies.

Step 3:

Fry for a few seconds until the spices are fragrant.

Step 4:

Add the cooked chickpeas and mix well.

Step 5:

Add the salt and mix again.

Step 6:

Cook for a few minutes until the chickpeas are heated through.

Step 7:

Add the freshly grated coconut and mix well.

Step 8:

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
