In a large bowl, combine rice flour, gram flour, sesame seeds, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, asafoetida, and salt.
Add the hot oil to the dry ingredients and mix well.
Using warm water, knead the mixture into a soft dough.
Use a Chakli maker to shape the dough into Chaklis.
Deep fry the Chaklis on medium heat until they turn golden and crispy.
Let them cool down before storing them in an airtight container.
