In a large bowl, mix together the rice flour, besan, sesame seeds, melted ghee, cumin seeds, ajwain, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, asafoetida and salt.
Knead the mixture into a soft dough using enough water.
Divide the dough into small portions and shape them into small discs.
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat.
Fry the chaklis in batches until golden brown and crisp.
Drain on absorbent paper and let cool.
Serve the chaklis with tea or as a snack.
