1 teaspoon

urad dal

1 teaspoon

chana dal

1 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

grated ginger

1 teaspoon

green chillies, chopped


freshly grated coconut

2 tablespoons

chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add mustard seeds, urad dal, chana dal and cumin seeds.

Step 3:

When the seeds start to splutter, add the chopped carrots and beans.

Step 4:

Saute for a few minutes until the vegetables are cooked.

Step 5:

Add the grated ginger, green chillies, freshly grated coconut, coriander leaves and salt.

Step 6:

Mix everything together and cook for a few more minutes.

Step 7:

Serve hot with steamed rice.
