cabbage, shredded

1/2 head

onion, chopped

tomato, chopped

cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chili powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

oil

1 tablespoon

Salt to taste

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Step 3:

Add chopped onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.

Step 4:

Add chopped tomato and cook for a few minutes.

Step 5:

Add shredded cabbage, coriander powder, turmeric powder, red chili powder, garam masala and salt.

Step 6:

Mix everything together and cook for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 7:

Serve hot with chapati or rice.
