cumin seeds

turmeric powder

red chili powder

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan over medium heat.

Step 2:

Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds and let them sizzle.

Step 3:

Add the diced onion and sauté until it turns golden brown.

Step 4:

Add the shredded cabbage and mix well.

Step 5:

Add turmeric powder, red chili powder, asafoetida, and salt to taste.

Step 6:

Cover the pan and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 7:

Once the cabbage is cooked, remove from heat and serve hot.
