cloves garlic, minced


cumin seeds

1 teaspoon

mustard seeds

1 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1 teaspoon

coriander powder

1 teaspoon

red chili powder

1 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

vegetable oil

1/4 cup

Salt to taste



Step 1:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 2:

Add the cumin and mustard seeds and cook until they start to sizzle.

Step 3:

Add the onion and garlic and cook until the onion is softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 4:

Add the cabbage and stir to combine.

Step 5:

Add the turmeric, coriander, red chili powder, and garam masala and stir to combine.

Step 6:

Reduce the heat to low and cover the skillet. Cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 7:

Uncover the skillet and cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Step 8:

Add salt to taste and serve.
