In a large bowl, mix together the gram flour, rice flour, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, garam masala, aamchur powder, baking soda and salt.
Add the chopped onions, coriander leaves and green chillies and mix well.
Add the oil and mix until the mixture resembles a thick paste.
Heat oil in a deep pan for deep frying.
Dip each bread slice in the prepared batter and deep fry until golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney or ketchup.
