A Bourbon biscuit is a type of biscuit popular in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It consists of two thin rectangular dark chocolate–flavoured biscuits with a chocolate buttercream filling. The biscuit is named after the House of Bourbon, a European royal dynasty. The biscuit was first produced in 1910 by the biscuit company McVitie & Price, Ltd.
