Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, cumin seeds and let them splutter.
Add chopped onion, green chillies and sauté for a few minutes.
Add chopped tomatoes, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, garam masala and sauté for few minutes.
Add cooked rice, toor dal, grated coconut, salt and mix well.
Add 2 cups of water and bring it to a boil.
Simmer the flame and cook for 10 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.
