uncooked bihun (rice vermicelli)

2 cups

vegetable oil

2 tablespoons

cloves garlic, minced


onion, diced


carrot, diced


red bell pepper, diced


frozen peas

1/2 cup

soy sauce

2 tablespoons

oyster sauce

2 tablespoons

sesame oil

1 teaspoon

Salt and pepper, to taste

chopped fresh cilantro

2 tablespoons



Step 1:

Soak the bihun in hot water for 10 minutes. Drain and set aside.

Step 2:

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the garlic, onion, carrot, and bell pepper and cook, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are softened, about 5 minutes.

Step 3:

Add the drained bihun, peas, soy sauce, oyster sauce, and sesame oil. Stir to combine and cook until the bihun is heated through, about 5 minutes.

Step 4:

Season with salt and pepper, to taste.

Step 5:

Garnish with cilantro and serve.
