Bhel Puri is a popular Indian snack often identified with the beaches of Mumbai. It's a type of chaat made of puffed rice, vegetables, and a tangy tamarind sauce. This dish is often enjoyed as a light snack or an appetizer and it's known for its perfect balance of sweet, salty, tart and spicy flavours. The puffed rice makes it light and it's made more wholesome with the addition of vegetables like onions, tomatoes and a variety of chutneys.
