In a large bowl, mix together the besan, wheat flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, asafoetida, baking soda, oil and salt.
Add the sesame seeds, coriander leaves, green chillies, ginger, garlic, cashew nuts and raisins and mix well.
Knead the mixture into a soft dough using enough water.
Divide the dough into small portions and roll each portion into a thin disc.
Heat a tawa and cook the discs on both sides until golden brown.
Serve hot with chutney or pickle.
