grated beetroot

grated coconut

1/2 cup

mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds and cumin seeds.

Step 2:

When the seeds start to splutter, add the chopped green chillies and sauté for a few seconds.

Step 3:

Add the grated beetroot and sauté for a few minutes.

Step 4:

Add the grated coconut, turmeric powder, chilli powder and salt.

Step 5:

Mix everything together and cook for a few minutes until the beetroot is cooked.

Step 6:

Serve hot with steamed rice.
