mustard seeds

1/2 teaspoon

cumin seeds

1/2 teaspoon

urad dal

1/2 teaspoon

chana dal

1/2 teaspoon

turmeric powder

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon


1/2 teaspoon

grated coconut

1/4 cup


2 tablespoons

Salt to taste

chopped coriander leaves

2 tablespoons



Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan.

Step 2:

Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds, urad dal, and chana dal.

Step 3:

When the seeds start to splutter, add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder, and garam masala.

Step 4:

Add the cooked beans and mix well.

Step 5:

Add jaggery and salt to taste.

Step 6:

Cook for 5 minutes.

Step 7:

Add grated coconut and mix well.

Step 8:

Cook for another 2 minutes.

Step 9:

Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.

Step 10:

Serve hot.
