These tiny seeds are known for their fantastic health benefits. Basil seeds, also known as Sabja seeds in India, are used for their cooling and filling effect in the body. They're versatile and can be added to any drink, dessert, salads, and even main dishes. They have a mild flavor, which pairs well with many foods and drinks. Basil seeds can be soaked in water for use in a recipe, or they can be grounded to use as a thickening agent.

Take 2 tablespoons of basil seeds and soak them in half a cup of water for 15-20 minutes. They will become gelatinous once soaked.
Once they have swollen up and developed a gel-like consistency, drain the excess water.
Now add half a cup of milk to it.
Mix one tablespoon of honey into this and stir it well.
Refrigerate the mixture for some time and serve it chilled.
