Soak the almonds in water for 6-8 hours or overnight.
Drain the water and peel the skin off the almonds.
Blend the almonds with some milk into a smooth paste.
In a pot, add the remaining milk, sugar, and the almond paste.
Boil the mixture on medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Lower the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Add the cardamom powder and saffron strands.
Stir well and let it cook for another 2-3 minutes.
Turn off the heat and let the milkshake cool down.
Serve it warm or refrigerate it for later use.
