Ingredients

badam (almonds)

1 cup

sugar

1 cup

ghee

1/2 cup

milk

1/2 cup

cardamom powder

1/4 teaspoon

chopped almonds (for garnish)

Directions

Step 1:

Soak the almonds in water for about 4-5 hours.

Step 2:

Peel the skin of the almonds and grind them into a fine paste.

Step 3:

Heat the ghee in a pan and add the almond paste.

Step 4:

Fry the almond paste for about 5 minutes on low flame.

Step 5:

Add the sugar and milk and stir continuously until the sugar dissolves.

Step 6:

Cook the mixture for about 10 minutes on low flame until it thickens.

Step 7:

Add the cardamom powder and mix well.

Step 8:

Garnish with chopped almonds and serve hot.
