Step 1:

In a separate bowl, mix together the flour and cornstarch.

Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.

Step 5:

Dip each piece of chicken into the flour mixture, coating it evenly.

Step 6:

Place the chicken pieces in the hot oil and fry for about 8 minutes, flipping them over halfway through.

Step 7:

Once the chicken is golden brown and cooked through, remove it from the skillet and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb any excess oil.

Step 8:

Serve the ayam goreng hot with your favorite sides. Enjoy!
