Cook the toor dal in a pressure cooker until it is soft.
In a large pan, heat the oil and crackle the mustard seeds and cumin seeds.
Add the mixed vegetables and sauté them for a few minutes.
Add the turmeric powder and red chili powder.
Add the cooked dal and tamarind paste.
Season with salt and simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Serve the Andhra Veg Curries hot with rice or roti.
