large ripe tomatoes

Directions

Step 1:

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds, urad dal, red chilies, and curry leaves. Fry until they become aromatic.

Step 2:

Add diced tomatoes, garlic cloves, and tamarind paste into the pan. Cook until tomatoes become mushy.

Step 3:

Allow the mixture to cool and then blend it in a mixer grinder into a smooth paste.

Step 4:

Add salt to taste and mix well. Your Andhra tomato chutney is ready to serve.
