Fresh Amlas (Indian gooseberries)



2 cups

honey or sugar (optional)

2 teaspoons



Step 1:

Rinse the Amla and pat dry them. Cut them into small pieces.

Step 2:

Discard the seeds and place the Amla pieces in a blender.

Step 3:

Add 1 cup of water to the blender and blend until smooth.

Step 4:

Use a strainer to separate the pulp from the juice. Press the pulp with the back of a spoon to extract all the juice.

Step 5:

Add another cup of water to the strained juice. You can add more if you find the juice too strong.

Step 6:

If you prefer, add honey or sugar to sweeten the Amla juice.

Step 7:

Stir well and drink fresh.
