Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.
Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.
Heat a non-stick pan and add some oil.
Place the patties on the pan and shallow fry them until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the alu tikki hot with chutney or ketchup.
