Ingredients

boiled potatoes

2 cups

boiled green peas

1/2 cup

chopped onions

1/4 cup

chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup

cumin powder

1/2 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/2 teaspoon

garam masala

1/2 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/2 teaspoon

Salt to taste

Oil for shallow frying

Directions

Step 1:

Mash the boiled potatoes in a bowl.

Step 2:

Add the boiled green peas, chopped onions, chopped coriander leaves, cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, red chilli powder and salt to the mashed potatoes.

Step 3:

Mix all the ingredients together until well combined.

Step 4:

Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape them into round patties.

Step 5:

Heat a non-stick pan and add some oil.

Step 6:

Place the patties on the pan and shallow fry them until golden brown on both sides.

Step 7:

Serve the alu tikki hot with chutney or ketchup.
