Ingredients

whole wheat flour

2 cups

salt

1/2 teaspoon

oil

2 tablespoons

mashed potatoes

1/2 cup

finely chopped onions

1/2 cup

finely chopped green chillies

1/4 cup

finely chopped coriander leaves

1/4 cup

garam masala

1/4 teaspoon

cumin powder

1/4 teaspoon

coriander powder

1/4 teaspoon

red chilli powder

1/4 teaspoon

ghee

2 tablespoons

Directions

Step 1:

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, and oil.

Step 2:

Add the mashed potatoes and mix until the mixture resembles a dough.

Step 3:

Knead the dough for 5 minutes until it is smooth and pliable.

Step 4:

Divide the dough into 8 equal portions.

Step 5:

Take one portion of the dough and roll it into a circle.

Step 6:

Place the chopped onions, green chillies, coriander leaves, garam masala, cumin powder, coriander powder, and red chilli powder in the centre of the circle.

Step 7:

Bring the edges of the circle together and seal the stuffing inside.

Step 8:

Flatten the stuffed dough and roll it into a paratha.

Step 9:

Heat a tawa or griddle over medium heat.

Step 10:

Place the paratha on the tawa and cook for 1-2 minutes.

Step 11:

Flip the paratha and cook for another 1-2 minutes.

Step 12:

Spread some ghee on the paratha and cook for another minute.

Step 13:

Flip the paratha and spread some more ghee.

Step 14:

Cook for another minute or until the paratha is golden brown and crisp.

Step 15:

Serve hot with yogurt or pickle.
